Questions and Answers for First Time Students

If you are looking for a healthy, fun, educational experience for your child, I believe you have come to the right place. And if you are like most parents, you have some questions. Download the "Questions and Answers" document below and I hope it will provide some useful answers.

Registration fee is $45 per class, applied to the childï¿½s dance recital costume to be ordered in November 2010. Balance on costume will be due at that time. Quarterly Fees/tuition for ï¿½10-ï¿½11dance year are $65.00 1st child/class ** $125.00 2nd child/class ** $180.00 3rd child/class.

**Please note, as last year, all pre-registered students will be mailed a packet in July with their class time, fall scheduling information, and also a discount coupon for shoes good throughout Open House.

Classes Offered Fall, 2010

*Tots (3 yr olds) (a.m. and Sat.) max 6 per class
*Mommy & Me (under age 3, walking)
*Preschool Combination (age 4-5) (a.m. and Sat, max 10 per class)
*Combination Dance (5 and up, weekend and Sat.)
Ballet/Tumbling Int. (7-10 if enough interest) Adv. (11- up)
Ballet/Pointe (teen) (pre-pointe and pointe levels)
Adult tap/jazz

How will my child be placed into a class?

Children are grouped by age and amount of experience. I do offer at least three (and sometimes more) sections in each age range to make sure that can happen. I am now offering two mornings of preschool classes as well as Saturdays to help avoid the later evenings for this age group. Dancers ages 5 and up may also fit into our weeknight schedule as space allows.

In 20 years of teaching. I have found it is not necessary to take children out of their age group to ï¿½advanceï¿½ them. We are able to advance all of the children within their age group using the appropriate music, costuming, and teaching methods for that particular age and level of experience.
